Refridgerator was in storage couple of years and believe freon leaked out. will that cause compressor not to work?
You should check for voltage at the compressor, if there is power than the compressor is siezed or it has bad starting components. You could hit it with a rubber mallet and try to free it. If there is no power at the compressor the thermostat could be stuck from sitting for so long, you could even give that whack or two and see if the comressor kicks on but if it was stuck it should be replaced, but sometimes they will continue to work. if your sure the refigerant (freon) leaked out you shouldn't try to start it because it wont work and you'll destroy the compressor you should weigh your options on getting it repared, some repair guys are rediculous,
