Check for a bad heater controller board or burnt wire connection going to the heater. You can check for voltage across the white and black leads going to the heater from the heater controller board (upper left corner of the black control box

Aeromax tub some jets not blowing air

Hi Claude.
If your spa jets appear to be pulsating or pausing, first check to make sure your filter isnot clogged. If your filter appears to be okay, you should next take a look at your hot tub's water level. If there is too little water, air could be working its way into the system through the jets.

Lost half of my jets on one side of the tub only.I have tried closing the jets that do work half, does not make a difference to the jets not working.Would it be best to empty the tub and start over?

it's likely due to an air lock. Here's what you can do to resolve this issue:

Manually Clearing an Airlock:
Run the jets on low for about 30 seconds.
Then run the jets on high for another 30 seconds.
Repeat this process 3 or 4 times.
If you hear a gurgling sound and see air bubbling up, continue running your hot tub until it pushes all the air out.
If this doesn't work after several attempts, try a different approach.
Bleeder Valves or Pump Method:
Some spas have bleeder valves that allow you to bleed air out of the lines.
First, turn off the spa at the breaker.
Access the pump and loosen the valve to allow the air to escape.
When the air has bled out (you'll notice it turns from hissing air to a stream of water), close the valve.
Run the pump to ensure the jets are now pumping water as expected.
Why Are the Jets Not Working on One Side Only?:
Many hot tubs have two water pumps.
If the jets on only one side of your hot tub stop working, there could be an airlock in only one of the pumps.
It could also be a blockage in the jet lines for that side or a problem with the internal mechanism of the jet itself.
Can You Use a Spa with an Airlock?:
It is not recommended to use a hot tub with an airlock.

The spa will not start - the pump is definitely connected to working power and the last time i tried it worked fine. However today when I push the on button nothing happens?

When you say nothing happens, I wonder if the unit is making any sound at all or do you mean there is no water flow? If there is no water flow in your hot tub or spa then it could be just a simple air lock. Often when you drain your hot tub or spa you have to prime the system afterwards, this includes the pump but may also include the suction lines. The suction lines can develop an airlock in the upper portions of the suction line. To remove an airlock you simply force water into the suction line or release the air in the line by opening a union. Hot Tub Repair 101 What is an E6 or Error 6 Code Mean

Additionally, you could need new hot tub filters. If the filters are dirty and water flow is restricted your power pak may shut itself down as well. This can be as simple as cleaning your filters or replacing them. Hot Tub Filters

Here are a few things to consider

  • release any air locks
  • clean filters
  • make sure there is no obstructions in the lines
  • check to make sure GFCI is operational
I hope this helps.

Have a sovereign hot springs spa purchased in 2000. When turning the jets on it kicks the breaker. Also, the inside control system is not working anymore. Could our friendly electrician do this easily,...

When spas turn on initially they run through a purge cycle. This when the pump runs for a few minutes to remove any air in the heating system so the heater does not dry fire.
If your system runs through the start up cycle just fine but kicks the breaker when the heater starts then the heating element is bad and needs to be replaced.

No jet flow hot springs highlife 1990

you might have an air lock, when you first start filling the spa, start the water running in the skimmer first. that should force air out of the pump and should pick up prime right away. if not, you may have a valve problem.
