Microwave Oven will not turn on

I may be able to help you or a friend troubleshoot it, but I would need the FCC ID number from the model tag to look it up.

FixYa doesn't always notify us of follow-ups, so feel free to contact me directly (see below).

It could be an issue with your control board, and I regularly repair these at an affordable cost.

Model X304ggvx has a convection oven. There are no markers for temperature or timers. I don't know how to get the oven to work.

Look at the model number tag and find the FCC ID number.

Enter the number (in two parts) as shown on the FCC ID page here:
https://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid

In the list of exhibits, look for the owner's manual.

If it's not there, you should be able order it via the links on my part ordering page here:

My sharp microwave won't let me do any other power level then 10 or 3....How do I do it? Tried to get 70% power this morning but all it gave me was 7 seconds??? phone number 719-7673458

Generally on a Sharp, you have to press TIME, then enter the digits for the cook time, then press POWER or POWER LEVEL, then enter a digit from 1-9, then press START.

If for some reason you don't still have your manual, here are ways to get one:

Look at the model number tag and find the FCC ID number.

Enter the number (in two parts) as shown on the FCC ID page here:
https://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid

In the list of exhibits, look for the owner's manual. You can download it free.

If it's not there, you should be able to order it via the links on my part ordering page here:

I have a Kenmore microwave, about 5 years old, for which I have lost the manual and other paperwork. The model number listed on the back of the microwave is 3850W3W030G. Can you help me access online...

That sounds like an LG part number.

A full Sears/Kenmore model number has 3 digits, a dot, then 8 more digits, such as ###.########

Just enter your full model number at the Sears parts site.

On the resulting page, look to the right for the blue "View Manuals" button.

bcbcbcf.jpg

That Sears-related site has many free manuals. While the manuals they list there are all free, they will ask you to register.

Many times, the owner's manual will have the installation instructions inside.

If yours is not listed there for free, you would have to order it through the
Sears parts site.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
