My gateway 510x keeps shutting itself off. Sometimes after 5 minutes of booting up sometimes after 30 seconds. What could be the problem? Tried removing dust from the inside but that did not help.

Sounds like your processor fan shut down and now your processor itself shuts off when it begins to over heat replace fan asap and don't keep trying to turn it on because you'll burn it out

My nokia 7610 when we on showing plain display and shutting off in 5-10 seconds

Possible error inthe phone showing a blank, can be failure of the display , failure of the hardware in main board. But sometimes reloading software can solve.
Just for final word, remove battery and keep aside ffor 30 minutes. then replace and test.

Gateway gm5442 very slow to boot, 20 to 30 minutes.

You said you tried different CPU, but it was the same motherboard, right? Maybe the motherboard speed (data bus, etc.) is just slow. Otherwise, there's not much left to try if the hard drive works OK in another computer and you've tried upgrading the memory, CPU, and power supply.

My acer aspire l100 keeps shutting off. it sometimes will stay on for like two minutes but most of the time it shuts down after like 30 seconds. it works fine in safe mode. most of the time it shuts off...

this seems like a software issue . if you can not run your system but ift works fine in safe mode try to run a system restore from factory disks and see where that gets you,
