Check your cartridges and make sure that all packing material was removed from the inks.. like the blue plastic tape on the ink ctg.. or its the waste ink assembly under the inks on the right side of the printer

What brands of fax / printers do you recommend

I like the Brother laser, you can print only black so you are not wasting color if you do not need it. I found it usually dried up before I consumed the color. Also the Brother lasts a long time and the copies you get from
the laser are about 2000-2500 and the cost over the long haul is min, compared to the small ink cartgs.

Lexmark X9350 will not scan or copy

Hi, have you had any luck repairing this? I also had this problem. I rang Lexmark support who, after 45min on phone, decided to send me a new machine. They did not want the old one back so I intend to try and repair it when I have time. I reckon the x9350 are prone to scan head problems as mine was making strange noises before it packed up and I have seen other reports of problems on various forums.

MP 160 Cannon Printer Won't Scan

try checking if you have completely installed all the drivers for your printer. scanning and copying dont usually needs drivers because you can do that even without a computer. but scanning requires your scanner to be read by your pc. try checking for the scanner driver from the cd that came from your printer.

Canon MP 460 re-filled cartridges

what I've done is buy two ink cartges and then you can fake out the printer by installing them back and forth between the full cart and the empty ones. I like the option of refilling the cartges. What I did was take the cartges out. drill a small hole it the acess hole so I could refill each ink color and reseal the hole up (with a small plug) took a needle and heated it up. to make a small air hole for the ink to be able to get out (breather hole). then set them aside. I then took the two other ink cartges and installed them. faking out the printer to think that it had new cartgrs in it. tried to print some pages then put the filled cartges back into them. Some times you might have to do this a couple of times but once it takes all you do is to make sure that the ink cartges are ALWAYS FULL. I have been running for some time without haveing a problem. I hope this helps
