Hi. Check the thermal fuse. The fuse is part 59 in diagram below. The fuse can be tested removing it from the appliance and using a multimeter to read Ohms on fuse contacts. If Ohms stay on infinity, then the fuse must be replaced. A good thermal fuse will read zero or very low impedance. If the fuse is good, then the problem is either control board, motor, or a wiring problem that will cause shut down after some second. The motor can be tested by a technician energizing it directly. Other parts like thermostat, element and high limit will cause no heat, but the appliance will still spin, and will not shut down. Test the thermal fuse. If the thermal fuse is OK, then repair will be more complicate, as you will need to test all parts and wiring before replacing the timer board. Here the diagram, click on the picture to enlarge: Here all parts and diagrams for the model listed. Regards.
Hi.
I am sorry. Because of a system problem my first comment lost formatting and pictures.

Hi , I was offline.
You need to remove the back panel, the fuse is located in the blower assembly.
The thermal fuse is part 5 in picture:
The back panel is held by screws running all around the panel. On some model you may have to remove the top panel first.

The dial for the timed settings has a fault which will need to be replaced. The timer has cogged teeth in it and when one goes bad the system just beeps and will not work correctly to use

Are you sure you have the right picture for my model?
The back panel will not come off mine. The back panel on mine appears to be integral with the rotating tub, thru a sealing sleeve. (I slid the top of the machine far enough so I could see inside.)
What happens when you leave work? Does another automatically take your projects?
regards
I don't think you are reading the question.
I need to know how to remove the back panel so I can get to the thermal fuse and thermistor.
thanks
I removed all the screws, and top, of course. The back panel WILL NOT come off! Can you suggest something other than a cutting torch, or a 16 pound sledge hammer, that will remove the panel, without damaging it?
The Sears parts store said others have not been able to remove the back panel either.
Bad design? Or intentional, so nobody but expensive Sears repairmen can work on it.
Unhappy,,,,,very,very,,,,unhappy customer.
