Phone sometimes takes forever to charge. I have it plugged in at night and it is still charging the next morning with no to little progress. Sometimes if I shut down the phone and restart it, it charges normally. Sometimes when I unplug the phone, the phone still thinks it is charging. I bought a new battery a few months ago and experience the same problem.

maybe your battery or your phone os .... try a new battery if nothing happens... try re flash your phone

Hello. Begin by checking the cord, specifically the end you insert into the car socket. that end has a fuse in it. You can easily unscrew it to check the fuse. Sometimes, also, that tip comes off so the plug has no fuse and will not charge the unit.

If the plug is ok, remove the tiny frame around the screen with your fingernail. Under that little frame you will see the reset button. Push it.

One of these steps should solve your problem. If not, you will have to send it into Garmin. See their link for that information http://www8.garmin.com/support/warranty.html

Not sure how I eventually got it to work but the camera charged up ok after connecting it to my pc via the usb cable and then deleting some empty folders and a few remaining photos............

Have you off the charger........?? If you have not, due to excessive consumption of charge, It has been damaged. Take it to a authorized dealer.

um maybe when you put it into storage it wasn't protected enough. try reseting it.

make sure that your charger is not bent, i had the samd roblem sometimes you just have to get a new charger or just get that one to position right so that it will charge the phone

actually the batteries should not be over charged..

once the charge is full you should stop charging it more..
it you leave it over-night the battery will lose its back-up

you should try a new battery..

I finally find a way to stop this problem from occuring : never leave your phone on the charger with the battery isnt empty !

I know this sucks because what best place to put your phone at night than its base. But try it and it will work (unless your battery is already damaged). In the morning when i go to work, I charge it for 8 hours, then when I come back, I take it off the charge until next morning.

it might take a while tfor the light to come on . leaving it on all night should not hurt it. try charging it again
