My Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W120 has a an Error code displaying on the screen which shows as (E:91:01) blinking at the same time with the Flash icon which is given on the top right hand corner of the display. I'm also unable to use the Flash or even go to its menus. Please let me know what exactly is this problem as i think its something to do with the flash??

If there is error message on the display and blinking flash, try to initialize the camera. If the problem persists or there is no error message, there is probably no user solution, camera will have to be repaired by service personnel.
Fist charger your SONY Cyber-shot DSC-W120 battery and clean the connect place of the battery and camera. Please make sure that the battery has been charged by the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W120 charger.
Li-ion batteries life is about 2-3 years, and if you have stored your battery with no power for a long time, the battery maybe has been damaged. When store Li-ion batteries you should charged it at about 40% first.
Flash capacitor in the camera did not charge in specified time. You can try to initialize your camera and wait if it will charge - if problem persists, there is hardware damage and it will have to be repaired by technician (do not try repair it by yourself - high voltage!)
I have a similar problem on my DSC W320 just a black screen when using the viewfinder and when i press to take a picture it is still black. Everything else works fine, I can access menus, change settings, view pictures that were taken before this error. VERY STRANGE, please can you help!!!!
Make sure Flash Shoe option is Off in setup menu then check flash light. Does camera give any blinking error code when flash fails to fire? Does flash pop up when you press shutter button to take picture in low light? Let me know to find out possible cause of problem.
go into setup menu and turn on the smile detection. go to photo and press the right arrow should have a pict of flash icon . press until the flash says auto.
