What is E112 - Hilti 202415 PD 4 Laser Range Meter

Hello,

I had same problem on PD42 but code was E112. It normally comes after 3 seconds of switching on and by carrying out following steps it works.
Switch ON and start pressing plus button repeatedly and if battery symbol comes in left corner its working. Actually its 3 seconds when you need to press plus button when it beeps and error message comes on, but its much easier to keep pressing and try your luck. This is not permanent fix but will work every time you want to use it.

1. When press ON/OFF button to switch ON and you get E with error code.
2. Switch OFF again.
3. Press ON button and start pressing plus button repeatedly until you get battery symbol in left corner, that's it all done.
4. You may have to repeat step 3 few time to be successful and probably every time you want to use it. Hope it works for you because it works for me.
