My freezer temperature read minus 19 degrees and the compressor ran continuously. I bought a new controller board from Sub-Zero's distributor ($250) that fixed the problem. Being an engineer I troubleshot the failed board. The relay driver IC, Part # ULQ2003A, had failed keeping the relay that turns on the compressor activated. The part is available from Digi Key for 61 cents. What a shame to throw away a complex circuit board due to a cheap part failing.

What model of Sub Zero do you have? I have the same problem and would love to avoid buying a new control board.

After the power outage my Sub Zero 650's control panel is stuck on showing

Hi,

It's possible that your refrigerator could have it's own capacitor/battery that needs to be charged to a certain level before every portion of your fridge functions again. You can give the fridge 1.5 hours to be plugged in before checking your freezer temperature again.

If that does not work, please call sub zero by dialing 1 (800) 222-7820

Thank you.

How do I turn off the freezer portion only on a subzero 700TC

Turn the unit off, hold the freezer warmer key and press power. You should get 2 dashes in the freezer temperature readout.

The Sub Zero bottom dram freezer has stopped working

HI,
What does you freezer do? Does the lights work and fan work? The fan works with the cold control, if the light switch fails the unit will defrost in about 3 - 4 hours, will remain cold though, just not frozen. I need more information to direct you correctly.

Items in my Sub-Zero 650/S crisper are frozen. I turn down the temperature but the items in the crisper are still frozen. What could be causing this?

Check to see if the fan at the top near the light is working. Remove any large items touching the top panel. Your cold air is not circulating. This happened to mine last year.

Sub-zero not keeping cold. It will cycle on and cool properly, then after a while the temp goes up to near 50 and it takes too long to cycle on to cool down again.

Call a subzero repairman. My subzero had a leak in the refrigerant coolant tubing. Trust me, only a trained and equipped repairman has a prayer of fixing this.

Sub-Zero temperture fluctuation

Just posted this elsewhere and it sounds like the same problem:
As you probably know, the recommended temperature range is between 35-45 F so if your control will not allow you to set this, the sensor or associated regulator has failed.

This seems to be an issue with Sub-Zero.
