If you computer will not recognize the mouse upon start up then go to the manufacturers website and you will be able to find the software there for free.

Unfortunately, your QWERTY keyboard remote is only for input to the TV. You cannot use it as a computer keyboard and mouse.

You can use the Logitech MX Air Mouse and a Bluetooth keyboard if you want a quality solution. I have a Gyration Media Center Remote which I love but they don't make it anymore. You can search eBay for that if you're interested. You can also try this but I wouldn't have high expectations.

About your problem sir, usually mouse nowadays, is plug and play. The meaning of that is when plug it to USB, it will be read by the computer readily.

But in your case, looks like the mouse is not plug and play, so you need a driver to be installed first so you can use your mouse. The driver of your mouse maybe in some CD in the package together with your mouse when you bought it. In case you lost it, you can download it over the internet. Try downloading it at http://driverscollection.com/?H=SWOP-35&By=A4Tech. You can also find other drivers there that you may need in the future.

Normally there won't be an issue. Keyboards and mouse are normally capatible with all versions of windows. This set will probably come with a cd if drivers are needed to be installed for the receiver. Hope this helps.

You have to go to each of the companies websites and download the drivers from there. I did the first one for you, here is the website for the keyboard:

There's nothing wrong with your keyboard hardware. You want to change your keyboard layout from english UK to english US.
In windows (I assume your in windows)
1. start, controlpanel
2. regional and language options
3. Set the default input language to English US
4. in the box " Installed services " add a keyboard layout for (English United States)

1. Go to: http://www.a4tech.com/ennew/downloads.asp
2. Under the "Downloads" section, you will find 2 fields. Click the arrow next to the field labeled "SELECT" & choose "RK(S)" from the drop-down menu. The second field will display "130MG". Click the arrow next to this field & select "520D" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click the "GO" button.
4. In the next page: in the orange side-bar to the left you will find your Keyboard/Mouse combo model & 2 buttons. Click the button labeled "Product Manual" to start the download.

may be you swaped the keyboard and mouse jacks. check them.
