My touch phone wont let me save new numbers.. it saves and when i switch screens it disappears.. about 5 seconds

Add a New Contact
Step 1 Touch the "Main Menu" soft key on your LG phone, or use the directional keys on your phone to select the "Main Menu" option.

NOT SURE IF THIS HELPS BUT THE MANUAL SAYS THE "IP" SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE US. MAKE SURE THATS OFF. PRESS SET/SAVE , PRESS UP UNTIL "AUTO IP", PRESS SET/SAVE, PRESS UP OR DOWN TO TURN OFF, PRESS SET/SAVE , PRESS DELTE TO GO TO NORMAL SCREEN.......THOUGHT I'D TRY..OTHER THEN THAT MANUAL DOESN'T SAY ANY THING...MAYBE THE THING IS JUST GARBAGE..LOL. i can help... i have incurred this problem a couple of times and understand the frustration! firstly, the reason why snd how this problem occurs is you have saved a number to your phonebook without a name and this causes the phone book to wig-out! to fix the issue simply press "1#". This will allow you to view your phone book in its speed dial order. Scroll through this menu until you find the saved number without the name and DELETE it. This will immediately bring your phone book back to normal. Good luck!
