No power to put new code in

Check the serpentine belt for cracks or slick spots as well as tightness. It's possible the belt is slipping and not replenishing power back to the battery.

Hi, first things i would try is to switch it off all togther, remove the battery and power lead and leave it sit for 10 - 20 minutes to let any residual power drain from it.

once you have done this just plug the power supply back in without the battery and try to switch it on, if it works ok, plug the battery in and see what happens if it fails to start up after this its most likely the battery is at fault.

if it will not start up just on the power adaptor then there is likely to be a hardware fault with the laptop itself that may need someone with some computer repair experience to fix for you.

Have you put new fuel in the car? fuel left for 6mths wont be very good. and most likely will need a service, new plugs etc etc, change the oil and check the battery connections.

Sounds like a bad remote. Try Parts Store.com. They may have the original.

It sounds like your loosing electrical power going to the ecm or DIS mas air flow sensor will throw a code but most of the time electrical power losses won't because it thinks it's being shut off... As far as where to look Gm has some fuseable links that have cuased connection issues like this... It's not going to be easy to find....Sorry...

take out the radio by just pulling it toward u and take it to a holden dealer and they will get the code for u for $40
