Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I’ve seen.

HI ! MY NAME IS ELENA AND I GOT A VELBON CX-44

Hi Elena,
Check the website: http://www.tripodquickrelease.com/Velbon_Quick_Releases.htm for your part needed. There were two CX series, 440 and 444. According to the site, you need quick release QB-4W or QB-4LC.
There are pictures of each quick release posted, so you can reference to the correct needed.
Hope this helps, Andrew

How do I attach the camera to the tripod?

Check the back of the camera to check if there is a hole with thread.
The top part of the tripod usually comes out. Screw the top part of the tripod to the camera and after that attach it back to the tripod.
If you need further assistance, just leave a comment. Cheers
