HP LJ p3005 dn printer will not recogonize hp print cartridge.

Toner Cartridge Drive need to be change

clean the drum of the toner with tissue paper and reinstall hopefully it will resolve the issue

Hi there! Error 52.00 is laser scanner motor error.There could be two things causing this problem.The first one is the toner cartridge.Look at the toner and try to locate a black plastic on the top of the cartridge.It should be at the top-right and it looks like a leaver.If this plastic is broken the printer will say 52.00.The other thing that can make such an error is the motor itself.To see if the motor of the laser scanner unit is ok , you need to open the printer.If you need any other help please replay!

Usually caused by the toner cartridge, try replacing the cartridge. Especially if it is not a genuine HP cartridge they have a higher defect rate.

Do a factory reset then reconfigure device one more time.

Try downloading and installing the XP driver from
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1846089&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=1846088&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=228

try removing the cartridge shutter, maybe is not opening. if after that you continue with the same issue without any errors there's a chance it would be the power supply
