How do i make a booklet?

I want to make a booklet. The way it needs to be is like pages of paper stacked together and then folded in half. The top half-page is the front cover, and when opened the two half pages make a whole page.. etc etc. I am really not finding it here.

I am making a booklet but need the cover page to be a different type of paper and pull from the stack bypass. I have clicked these options, but it is not working. Please advise.

Select BOOKLET function, found in SPECIAL FUNCTIONS. Select which size paper is required and then select FINISHER to select STAPLER and SADDLE-STITCH, then load your document into the document feeder. Select number of copies then press start button. All of this is only applicable if a Finisher and Auto-Doc Feeder is installed. Let me know if this helps?

Printmaster half-fold printing on epson printer

Before printing you need to select the size and orientation and it's a good idea to look at the preview before printing. That saves a lot of paper.

Jam on roller

I had many jams using a Kodak printer, but lately I've been fanning the paper, which they may have told me to do, but I didn't know how to do it. Here is a step by step way to do it. Take the stack of paper you plan on using in your printer & straighten it by taking it by each side & tapping it on a surface (like a desk top). Bend the stack of paper as if going to fold it in half. On one side, the stack is fanned out. Grab the paper on the long sides with both hands & slide it into the printer tray. Go ahead & print, I've had fewer jams since loading my paper this way. Give it a try, see if it works for you!!!

How can I print booklets?

One sheet booklets generally are two-sided printing jobs, accordion fold, gate fold or quarter or half fold styles. Determine which of these styles your's will be and make a "dummy"....it's as simple as folding the paper according to its finished form and marking each of the panels with scaled type or pictures. By making the dummy, the layout will reveal itself when opened and flattened. You will most likely have to "flip" the pages and print each side at separate times unless your machine is a "duplex" type of printer. The "dummy" is the key to the puzzle. Simple as folding and unfolding the panels.

Booklet printing pages in wrong order.

I believe this is going to be a software issue. Do a print preview of the booklet first to see if they are showing up in the right order. If they are, then it is a printer issues and I really can't help you there, but it they aren't then you know it might be a software issue. Check you formatting on the document before you trying printing it again.

Designing a document in book form and printing in Word 2007

When you select Book fold for your page setup, Microsoft Word prints two pages on one side of the paper. When you fold the paper, it opens like a book. This option is intended for documents that have more than two pages.
1. Set up your document as a booklet.
When you create a booklet, it's best to start with a new, blank document so that you have better control over the placement of text, graphics, and other elements. You can add a book fold to an existing document, but you may have to reposition some elements once the book fold is in place.
A. Start a new, blank document.
B. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Margins tab.
C. In the Multiple pages list, select Book fold.
If your document is not set to landscape orientation, Microsoft Word sets it to landscape.
D. In the Inside and Outside boxes, type or select the amount of space you want for the inside and outside margins (margin: The blank space outside the printing area on a page.).
If you need even more space along the fold to accommodate binding, type or select the amount of space you want in the Gutter box.
E. In the Sheets per booklet list, select the number of pages you want to include in a single booklet.
If the number of pages in the document exceeds the number of pages you select for a booklet, Word prints the document as multiple booklets.
F. Select any other options you want in the Page Setup dialog box.
G. Add text, graphics, headers or footers (header and footer: A header, which can consist of text or graphics, appears at the top of every page in a section. A footer appears at the bottom of every page. Headers and footers often contain page numbers, chapter titles, dates, and author names.), and other elements to your document as usual.
2. On the File menu, click Print.
3. Set options for printing on both sides of the paper.
If you're using a duplex printer (one that automatically prints on both sides of the paper)
Click Properties, and then set the options you want. If you have a choice of setting the page orientation and duplex options, select landscape orientation, and flip the document on the short edge or short side.
If you aren't using a duplex printer
In the Print dialog box, select the Manual duplex check box. Word will print all of the pages that appear on one side of the paper, and then prompt you to turn the stack over and feed the pages again.
4. Select the page range you want to print.
If you click Current page or Pages, Word prints the page you indicate, plus the three other pages that belong on the same sheet of paper.
If you click Selection, Word prints your selection using the default page layout instead of booklet layout.

Printing a booklet on WorkCentre 7345 , need help argent !!!

OK, same problem, I've gotten through the solution. I can print and have the first page and last page on one side of the large sheet and the two inside pages on the other side, so that is foldable into a booklet.
I start with a 4 page (US letter sized) document I wish to print as a booklet on tabloid paper.
In the (page layout or editing program's) print dialogue, I've said print all pages, set it at 1 page per sheet, then clicked the printer properties button to open the Xerox Workcenter 7345PS option dialogue.
In the Xerox dialog on the "Paper/Output" tab, selected the larger (Tabloid, 11x17" in my case) paper size, selected 2-Sided Print. Then I select the "Layout/Watermark" tab and clicked the Booklet Layout radio button, chose "Landscape" for the Page Layout Option. Note: I saved these settings as "Tabloid Booklet" by clicking the down-arrow to the right of "Driver Defaults" so that I could select them and not have to dial in every one of the settings whilst experimenting.
