I own LG VX8360 and can't figure out hoe to turn ringer on. Can you help me?

I know this reply is 4 years late, but this is for anyone who happens to find this site because they're having the same issue. I have an LG220CM flip phone. I was having the same exact problem after my one year old got a hold of the phone, and I thought I was going to have to get a new one. I even tried holding the star button and changing it to Normal Mode, and it still wouldn't ring.
Go to Settings, Sound, Alert Type and make sure it says Ring Only on Call Alert. Mine somehow got changed to Vibrate Only. Then hit Save and that should fix the problem! Hope this helps!

To restore the ringer it will depend on what mode your phone is in:

Vibrate Mode:
Sets the phone to vibrate instead of ring.

To set Vibrate Mode, with the flip open, press and hold the # key .

To return to Normal Mode, press and hold the # key again.

Sounds Off Mode:
Quickly deactivate your phone's sounds when you're in a place where phone sounds would be disruptive.

From standby mode with the flip open, press and hold the lower side volume key for 3 seconds. To return
to normal sounds mode, press and hold the upper side key.

Airplane Mode:
Turning on Airplane Mode will disable all wireless communications.

1) With the flip open, press the Menu key.
2) Use the Directional Key (top center of phone) to scroll to 'Settings and Tools'.
3) Press the 6 key for Phone Settings.
4) Press the 1 key for Airplane Mode.
5) Use the Directional Key to highlight a setting, then press OK.
