Question about LG RH177 DVD Recorder/HDD Recorder
Unfortunately, your recorder is picking up a signal in the broadcast that copy-protects the show. The recorder is programmed to forbid copying of protected material. Depending on the source of the copy-protection, you may be able to block out the copy protection signal with a hardware filter. One example of these would be the Sima CT-2 that is placed between the S-out of the receiver and the S-in of the recorder.
I hope this helps.

(One common sources with this issue: a DVR that passes on the copy protection to an attached DVD recorder. Particularly some of the new Satellite/Cable receivers with built-in DVRs. The non-DVR models of the products usually filter out the copy-protection.)

This may be a copy protected DVD. A DVD with copyright protection will not allow you to copy or remove or do any changes to the DVD by yourself.
You can use Leawo Blu-ray Copy to remove the copy protection.
