Sun canopies for the Maxi Cosi Citi SPS carseat can be ordered via your local Maxi Cosi retailer or direct from the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 (Excluding Bank Holidays) if you are in the UK.
If you are not in the UK please visit www.maxi-cosi.com and select the country you're in, then use the "Contact Us" tab on the right side of the page for your enquiry to go to the customer service department in your country.
The CabrioFix sun canopy is a different design, fit will not be optimum.
A replacement sun canopy can be ordered from your local retailer or direct from customer services on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30. RRP is 10GBP and if purchased direct there will be 3.99GBP p+p.
The Maxi Cosi CabrioFix can be fitted without any base, using the 3 point seatbelt: With the EasyFix base, using IsoFix points or 3 point seatbelt: With the EasyBase and EasyBase 2 using the 3 point seatbelt. It cannot be used with the Mico carseat base as they are not designed to be used together. The Mico is available in US and does not meet UK standards: Likewise the CabrioFix does not meet US standards so they should never be used together.
If you don't know how to fit the carseat into your vehicle using the 3 point seatbelt please check your user manual, or download a replacement copy at www.maxi-cosi.com before use go to an authorised retailer to check it is correctly installed as this will affect the performance of the carseat.
The silver button will cause the sun canopy to pop up about half an inch, just pull it and it will come up further and can be hooked onto the handlebar.
Instructions for fitting the sun canopy can be found in your user manual.
If you no longer have your original copy of the user manual please go to www.maxi-cosi.com and select your country. Now select the CabrioFix carseat from the list of available carseats and download a replacement user manual.
I assume that you refer to the Maxi Cosi Cabrio onto the Buzz chassis? When you purchase the Buzz, along with other extras, you will receive the Cabrio Adapters. These are clicked onto the chassis (this is in a hole where the seat unit would be if using that component) These adapters allow you to also click the carrycot onto the chassis.
It you visit http://www.quinny.com/quinny/instructions.aspx?id=3 you can watch a demo movie which will explain this to you. I would strongly urge you to visit a good nursery retailer who should be more than happy to take you through the process.
hi if the car seat you have is the cabriofix it already has sun shade, if you look on the back there is a button under the rim at the top ( on mine the button is silver ) hope this is helpful
hi maria10102..hope this helps..good luck!!! The sun canopy is located in the rim of the shell. • Place the carrying handle in the carrying position. • Open the rim by pushing the button at the back under the rim and releasing it. • The sun canopy is now visible in the opening • Pull it out and place the ends of the sun canopy with the buttonholes over the hooks on the carrying handle • When storing the sun canopy, make sure you place it in the rim carefully and close the rim properly
Hi, all the maxicosi carseats will fit onto the zapp using the adaptors that come with the zapp pushchair (but not the newly rebranded bebe loola).
The difference between the maxi cosi cabriofix and the ordinary cabrio or citi is that the cabriofix can be attached to the maxicosi in-car seat base (easybase or easyfix), whereas the cabrio and citi can only be fitted in the car using the cars seatbelts, they wont attach to the incar base. Hope I have helped a bit x
