Now, I will inform you this first. these days, there are very many fake Nokia phones on market from the chinese. you should first confirm this because such phones, donot connect to computer via the original Nokia pc suite. and secondary, they do not use the same drivers that are installed during the installation of the pc suite. confirm that you have original 8GB N95. one way is to check the memory. chinese 8gb only carries the label (8gb) but doesn't have that hard disk inside! you may find just a memory card of may be 1gb or less. But if it is original, check the cable and clean the phone interface, also try to use a different usb port.

however, for such phone is chinese, you have to choose to use it in memory card mode. on connecting it to pc, it should ask you the mode to use it in. but if it doesn't, go to its functions, connections and set its usb to be in memory card mode on connection to pc. that way, you will avoid being asked for drivers.
hope this helps. Regards

Ekse

Hello

Try connecting to another usb port, directly on the computer, also check that the cable is plugged into the phone properly.
if either connector is broken it wont get recognized.
try atleast 5 times, reconnect the cable, try other ports etc, turn off the phone, turn it back on, restart your computer.

Try with another computer, if the problem persists on all computers and no matter what you do, then you have either a faulty phone, broken connector or in very rare cases broken cable.
if you replace the cable and the problem remains then its either faulty phone or broken connector on the phone.

contact your seller for warranty replacement.

As this is a CHINESE phone, NOKLA. Not NOKIA.
NOKIA will not repair this phone.

Nokia is made in finland and is not a chinese brand / phone, if you got the legit nokia phone. there are chinese fakes available from china / hong kong. which are called nokla (NOKLA) instead of nokia.

nokia will repair your phone if it is a nokia phone. outside of warranty of course is going to cost you.

hi there!

with that error message "USB Decive Not Recognized", it means that there might be something wrong with the usb cable you're using or the usb port on your pc. try connecting it to a different usb port. if its the same thing, try using another usb cable.

Hi, if you want your PC to recognize the phone your using, you will need to install a nokia connectivity first before install nokia pc suite.

Nokia connectivity is a driver that makes your PC to recognize the phone when connected.

When you install the nokia connectivity, install nokia pc suite, and then try it out again. am sure it will work.

Note:Hope the cables are ok.

Take care.

Nokia 3110 classic usb device malfunctioned

Hi,

Please try connecting your phone to a different USB port other than the one which you use normally.
If the issue is the same then try connecting it to another PC if you still face the problem then it is a hardware issue.Either your phone or the USB cable is gone bad.So replace the USB cable first with a new one and then try connecting. If the issue is till the same then it is your phone and you will have to get it repaired or get it replaced if it is under warranty.
