Question about Belling XOU252 Electric Single Oven

My Belling oven has no heat, but the fan &

My Electric Oven Belling 295 has no heat, but the fan & grill is still working? Can I fix this myself?? It is only just over a year old but not sure if I have my reciept!

If the fan is working o/k, then there is little doubt that the oven element has failed.
This is quite common with fan assisted ovens.
The element is usually located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

check that tthe cable connection to the elements is ok and not burnt and that the power is at this terminal, if present then change the element and if absent then check and change the the thermosatrt

Belling built in fan oven (XOU60FP)is overheating

Have same problem, I am repairing our 648HM double oven. Top oven overheats. I am an electronics engineer. I found that top oven fan has failed, this is the first thing to replace. The grill element also failed which maybe due to the overheating oven. NIGEL

Oven not heating up [fan works] the oven is a belling xou 163 the grill works but the oven does not warm up

It wilbe a faulty oven element, you will need ti fit a new one.
It is located at the rear of the oven, behind a removeable cover.

If your electric

oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...

The fan is working but the oven isn't heating up although the grill is working as well. What could be causing this and would it be expensive to repair

sounds like the oven heating element is defective, shout be about $150 to repair, less if you do the work

Fan oven wont heat up

If fan is workintg, but no heat, then replace oven element.
If no heat or fan, then make sure timer is set on manual and not on auto

Hi.
If the fan is working o/k, then you need a new fan oven element fitting.
Remove panel at rear of oven compartment, there you will see the element, undo any screws you can see to remove rear cover.
disconnect element taking care not to loose wires, and fit new element. test before you refit rear cover.
