I connect my Yp-S3 player to my computer via the USB cable. it can't be detected by the computer, however it got charged. It used to work perfectly before. So how can I make the computer recognize the player again? Thank you
No it's not on hold. I think that the USB cable is getting defective. If so, how can it charge the player? That's pretty strange. thanks for ur help dudeNo it's not on hold. I think that the USB cable is getting defective. If so, how can it charge the player?

1. Make sure that the USB cable of your MP3 is known working. 2. Connect your MP3 into different USB port of your computer. 3. Connect the MP3 into different computer to see if there's a problem with the computer or with the MP3.
If the MP3 gets detected using another computer, then there's something wrong with your computer. It could be that there's a drive letter conflict or the USB ports could be weak to detect the device.
I think you have answered the question yourself. Change the USB cable.
If that doesn't make any difference try searching for the hardware again. Check the settings and drivers are working. Roll back the driver etc.
The player needs to be charged via the USB connnection on your PC. If it doesnt fit, try the USB ports on the back. If its not working/not charging, please test the MP3 player on another PC.
SOLUTION FOUND!!! NO DRIVER PROBLEM ...Right click on my computer,go down to properties ..next window click the hardware tab, then click on device manager...right click and goto properties on ALL your "usb ports"...goto power management and uncheck the power saving box for every usb port, and click ok,then restart.!
