Your problem is either in the control board or the water level switch.  The computer can't tell if the water has drained or the control board is stuck in the 8 minute drain cycle.  Recommend pulling the plug and wait 5 minutes to reset the computer.  If the problem persists, it will require an LG experienced tech to see what's going on.

I have an LG front loader - model WD - 804 90TP and the machine is working but it gets down to 6 mins to run the spin cycle and then goes up to 14 mins and then back down again and carries on in that cycle...

You need to check the inlet valve for good flow of the water as a SLOW water pressure can increase the timing for rinse and spin.
Similarily the DRAIN pump/valve must be checked as if this is clogged then the drain flow will be LOW and the timing will extend for full drain. Remove and clean the drain pump and it can be the reason that the clothes are still wet.
Finally check on the controller for the proper timing of the cycle.

LG Intellowasher 7kg, Model WD-8074FHB - noisy spin cycle

You are right!

Bearings have to be replaced. Replace with the same type and design. All the bearings connected to the washer center shaft has to be replaced at the same time with new set.

Replace the water seals also connected to this. Check the shaft where the bearing sits, for any abrasions or metal damage.

Check the bearing housing also. While carrying out these repairs check the drive belt also. If needed replace it.

If you are happy with the machine outer body and other aspects repair it and re-use it.

Is there a filter in the LG INTELLOWASHER 7kg. If so where is it. The model is WD-8074FHB

its located on the bottom right of the machine front - open the flap and you will see a round filter base. ONLY OPEN THE filter during the last of the spin cycle to clean it, this is when most of the water has been pumped away. Opening it while the machine is off will cause a gush of water over the laundry floor.

My LG WD-8074FHB door will not open

Door assembly needs replacing, can open door using old credit card/drivers licence, sliding between cabinet and door(toward centre area of handle-behind it), pushing the door lock in left hand direction, you can remove the items from machine.

Gets stuck on timer and wont count down

We had a similar situation with our LG washer. It was not a timer problem.
The machine was not entering the spin cycle and was just stuck in limbo. A sensor or something was not being satisfied and allowing the progression to the next cycle. Our problem had to do with the drain line; it seemed as if it was air locked?? After lowering the drain line height (to reduce the head pressure), and manually draining some water out of the drainage cap (where the strainer is located) onto the floor, the sensor became satisfied and the machine completed its cycles properly.

What told me that it was not a timer issue was the fact that on different wash settings (normal, heavy, quick cycle), the machine timer would get stuck at different countdown points (22mins, 12mins, etc.).
