The quick conect lines can sometime be hard to get the springs to release. First of all you need to make sure you have the proper tool and size that will fit inside of the connection. Then sometimes you might have to slightly take a small hammer and lightly tap the release tool up into the quick connect to release the spring. This usually works for me. But you must have the proper tool to do this.

How to remove the clutch line from the manual transmission?

This can really be a pain in the ****. Ford does make a special tool for this, but it can be accomplished using a small flathead screwdriver. If you look at the quick-disconnect, you will see a plastic ring. Using a flathead screwdriver, force this plastic ring up underneath the female portion of the disconnect until the retaining barbs disengage and you are able to pull the clutch line free.

Changing clutch on a 2003 ford ranger how do I

Well to start, you need to remove the shifter from the transmission. Then remove the driveshaft. Then unplug the plugs from the side of the transmission and disconnect the clutch fluid line. Then remove the crossmember. Unbolt the bellhousing bolts. Then have a friend help you remove the transmission. Then unbolt the clutch.

Need to know how to change fuel filter on 2002 ford ranger, V6 sport?

These are equipped with quick release fittings. You need to purchase a set of the quick release line tools or at least the sizes for your application then simply slide them down the line into the filter and it should pop right off nice and simple

Vaccum line location on transmission on 1994 ford ranger 4.0

Remove heat shield covering on passenger side of transmission. Pry heat shield from oil pan and then carefully slide it forward to expose vacuum diaphram. There's your vacuum hose!
You can find this and much, much more info in the Haynes Ford Ranger 1993 thru 1997 manual for around $20 at most auto parts stores.
