- Make sure that the filled water container is in the appliance.
- Turn the program selector to "On" with lighting and place a container under the hot water spout and another under the steam spout.
- Press the hot water button, turn the steam selector counterclockwise and dispense hot water until it flows in quiet, continuous streams.
- Press the hot water button again. Turn the steam selector clockwise to o, to turn off the water.

Actually I have solved this problem.
This was achieved by tightening the Steamer knob on the shaft.
Procedure:
Remove the 2 screws from top of VV machine.
Lift up metal cover to expose workings.
Rotate Steamer knob until Allen key grub screw is positioned at top of plastic assembly.
Use fine (0.5mm)allen key and loosen assembly.
Rotate Steamer knob to tighten on shaft.
Tighten grub screw.
Check leakages have stopped by testing and then reassemble cover plate with screws.
Worked for me. Very simple procedure.
