Can't pull up the chat and my notifications won't go away

If you open the clock app and click on the alarm page, you should see all the alarms you have created, if any of the little alarm icons next to them are green it means that that alarm is enabled, tap the icon to turn off the alarm, this should make it go away.

you've turned off the chat feature. there's a little cog wheel by the search bar at te bottom left. click it and you can turn chat back on.

use a different browser!

go to setting left corner click enable chat notification,chat popup window will show ,click on chat window setting click chat online it will expand

Enable Chat

• Click the "Chat" bar on the bottom of the screen of the Internet browser after you arrive to Facebook web.
  

• Sign into your FB account then on the very first page on the left side you see a option to go online. just click on it.

• click on the chat box, go to the top & click online.

• Go to your Group Settings and you should be able to turn it on
  

• Click on the little man with the green dot (next to the "online friends" and notification boxes) at the bottom right corner of your browser.In the middle of the pop up box, you will see the option to "Go Offline", click on it.If you click this option, you will still be on facebook like normal, but your friends won't be able to see that you're on.

• on the bottom bar (where you should have these buttons: applications on the left and online friends on the right), check on the right of "Online Friends" button, and you should have:- the notifications "icon"- and the shape of a man with a green "dot" on the right of the notifications button.

Chat bar is usually located in the right bottom corner of your facebook page. If you still can't find it, you probably accidentally clicked "pop out chat box' the last time. In this case the chat box will be in a separate window. Also if you clicked on that little box in the right bottom corner that says "pop in chat" this will resolve your issue.

However if this will not resolve it, try refreshing your browser, click "Home", look at the left middle side of the Facebook page that will show your status in chat. Click "go online".

You can find your online friend at right down corner of your home page. A small pop up is appeared at right side (Its showing "chat" and no. of online friends). You'll have click on this chat pop up, you can see all your online friends.

After your system boots, try right-clicking on the task bar and select "Properties" in the dialog box that appears. Click the tab that says "Notification Area" and see if the box "Hide Inactive Icons" is checked. If so, remove the checkmark. You can also leave the check there and select the "Customize" button to mark the ones you want to Hide/Show all the time.

it happens to everyone it is a facebook thing.
