Picture has blue at the bottom and yellow at the top. double images and the station logo is in the wrong place

This tv have convergence problems.Tries website Tvrepairworld.com to buy the whole refurbish convergence board for the replacement.The Samsung/Akai used the same convergence board.

Ur tv have convergence problems,it dead.Require 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors replaced on the convergence board.The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

A solid blue line would imply that the lower buffer PCB has a loose connector or a bad buffer. Some plasma TV have these buffer ICs build right into the ribbon connector of the panel. At any rate, if you plan to have the TV repaired, STOP USING IT. Plasma panels are notorious for burn-in when viewing stationary images (station logos, video games, etc.). The blue line IS stationary and if you keep watching it, you will see the effects even after you correct the original problem.

The problem you are refering to is more than likely a convergence problem. The convergence circuit in your tv is controlled by an IC (integrated circuit) stk392-110 and it makes the 3 colors (red, blue, green) line up/converge together to create a clear picture. You'll know when this part needs to be replaced because the picture you see is 3d looking and possibly bowed on the top or bottom or on the sides in any or all 3 colors.

Did you use the Automatica Convergence to try and straighten it out? If that does not help, you can manually adjust the convergence.

I am having the same problem hopefully some one answers us.

It's a Blue Convergence issue but how to fix it I am still waiting.

The image you see is burned in the CRT's,nothing wrong with

screens.As you might expect, red,green and blue CRT's are

very expensive,about 400.00 each.
