motorola w230 is the cheapest mp3 phone ever made. to connect it with PC we can only use it as a removable disk -or we can say as- same as an USB FLASH DISK ,in other way we can't use it as a modem. because from my experience i think w230 is not design to be a modem. and how to entry the mp3 file is by connect it to PC and use the phone as disk storage by clicking YES option every time it connect. for windows user use windows explorer or click my computer icon on the desktop then explore the computer & you'll find your phone as "removable disk" item. you'll find 3 folder ; music, picture, and system. copy your mp3 and paste it to the folder "music" on the w230 "removable disk". although can't connect to a PC/laptop we can still use the internet through the phone with a minimal facility.
because the driver of Motorola w230 is not for modem but for charging driver. the driver recommended for razor, v3. for further information open .inf on driver Motorola w230. so you cannot connect to internet with PC trough Motorola w230 modem.
micro sd card has a built in driver on its own, all you have to do is to unlock your phone and connect the cable to your phone and your pc.. press "yes" on your phone questioning you "connect as a storage device" or something like that.. then you can start file transfer from pc to phone and vice versa..
