Dec 21, 2011 - I just replaced the hard drive of canon IR2200 and the error code E000677-5802 appeared. Is this a hard drive software problem?

If you have a Service Contract with the local CANON office, call them, and get them to make a service-call to fix your printer.

The error code means the fuser film is not in the correct postion. Odds are the fuser film is wripped or torn. It is going to have to be replaced before the code can be cleared.

E051 is Horizontal registration HP detection error
0000 At start-up, home position is not detected when the horizontal registration assembly is moved 100 mm in the direction of home position.
Main cause: The horizontal home position sensor is faulty. The horizontal registration
motor is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty.

This problem should be handled by a technician.

Have you worked on the copier or has a service person just worked on the copier? The error code deals with the motor M3 not getting a signal to turn ON. Make sure you turn the copier Off and unplug it from the wall...... Then take the back cover OFF and look for connector J3040-2... The connector is most likely only part way in... Disconnect and reconnect it... Also, make sure all the other connection are all in correctly.... Good Luck.....
