I unsinked my itouch of my old computer so i had to restart the itouch .so then i was re-setting my passcode then when i put my passcode in it said faillure 1 then i kept doing it then it said please try...

The only way you can take the password off the ipod is by restoring the ipod back to factory settings- then re-sync back to your CPU

When you connect to the computer, click on "restore". It will then put your ipod back to the beginning settings, and you can set a new passcode.

the only way you can work around your passcode problem is by restoring your itouch.
keep trying to remember it.
if you decide to restore you can put the iTouch in DFU Mode and restore.

1. Goto your computer
2. Connect your Itouch
3. Restore your Itouch to factory defaults
4. (Optional) Backup your settings
5. Sync your newly restored itouch

Connect your IPOD Touch to iTunes

Press or Hold the power and home keys 10 seconds.

Screen goes black, now release the power button

Make sure you do not release the Home key until your iTunes says "We have detected an itouch in recovery mode."

After this its simple all you got to do is a simple restore using your iTunes

or
1.Plug the iPod in computer.

2.Go to "My Computer" And click the apporiate drive your iPod.

3.Change the folder option to "View all hidden files and folders"

4.Navigate to ipod_control

5.Then go to Device

6.Then there is a file there named"_Unlocked"

7.Open that up with a text editor (Notepad) and viola the passcode is right there.

Many people do this! Simple solution! Do the following:
1) Start your iTunes and connect your iPod touch to your comp.

2) Keep holding the POWER button (top right) together with the HOME button (centre, bellow the ipod screen) for about 10 seconds. You should hear a sound(s)..
Release the POWER button ONLY, keep holding the HOME button, you will again hear some sounds.

3) If you did it correctly iTunes will tell you that it has detected an iPhone or iPod touch in recovery mode.

You should be able to re-sync all your previous ipod content from there...
