You can almost always find a replacement charger for your electronic device on EBay for a reasonable price.
Just go to EBAY.COM and enter the model number of your camera along with the word CHARGER and you should see a compatible item available for your camera.
Here are a few links to some random VIVITAR CAMERA CHARGERS currently available on EBay:
Just use your mouse to click on the links, which are the three underlined and blue highlighted text sections just above.
This will open new web browser pages automatically for you and allow you to view the different items and information at the website indicated.
As I said earlier, you will need to know the exact model number of your camera in order to find the correct charger for it. Then once you find an appropriate item that you wish to buy, just open an EBAY account to purchase the item, as well as a PAYPAL account to safely pay for it online. Both of these accounts are completely free to open, and are a very reliable and secure way to purchase items online.
I don't think there's anything wrong with this. 5hrs for a high current tool is actually really good! A quality 18v drill can only drive a few hundred screws at most before needing recharging. And that might be 30 mins...
Personally, I recharge all my tools after each use. The charger for this item will have a 'trickle charge' when the battery is fully charged. This will keep it topped off, and ready for use. It won't hurt the battery to keep it fully charged at all times.
Hope this helps!
If this has helped with your solution please give me the appropriate thumbs up. Thanks, and good luck!
