Samsung monitor flickers when hooked digital but not analog
Hello,
The reason your unit is flickering when in digital mode and not analog mode is because digital mode requires more power than analog. The power supply in the unit is beginning to have a failure in the output filter capacitors so the power is not as smooth as it should be, when the voltage fluctuates so does the picture. If you replace the failing capacitors in the power supply board the problem will go away. Here is a link to a repair guide with dis-assembly instructions and then what to look for and replace to get the unit back up and running.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

I believe this flickering might be caused by failing caps. Replacement is not too difficult, so will see if the flickering continues.
1. this may be due to cable select and or cable not being secure at connection point
2.check your instruction manual for proper setup for digital signal to the LCD monitor and the to your video source.
