Sounds **** a sequencer problem. As far as converting to gas. I would go with outside package gas unit. Works great and you do not have the noise. James

I have an intertherm furnace model number 901282 and it will not heat my house when i turn on the thermostat it starts but just blows out cold air pleases help

The blower should come on after ignition occurs. When the blower comes on first ignition will not be activated as the thermostat signal shows the heat is on. This happens when the blower relay is stuck in the on condition

I have an intertherm electric furnace. the heat coils heat up then system shuts down

It is possible that high temp limit is shutting you down.make sure your blower is running when t-stat is calling for heat.if notstart at the heat sequencer which cuts the blower on with first bank of heat. it will be dangerous and difficult to troubleshoot this prob without a multimeter and experiance with elect. components

Intertherm Heat Pump

Some of the old heat pumps made the reversing valve in the heating mode. On your new thermostat the orange wire will need to be on the B terminal. If it was color coded? I hope you made notes of how it was.

I have a intertherm furnace and need to know how to tell the proper filter size this is a mobile home

The best thing to do is buy a washable horsehair filter from home depot and cut it to fit. They are green in color and you cut any size you want. They slide in the door of a gas furnace or along each side of the A coil in an electric furnace. That is your best bet. Most of the time the furnaces comes witha washable filter and it is thrown away after afeew times. Rus

Intertherm furnace model MGHA070AAFC-01 cuts on and off

I assume this is a gas furnace? If so its most likely your fan switch. This is set to come on after the "Chill" is gone on the furnace and go off a few moments after the flame cuts off. there are several different kinds but you will find it if you trace the wiring from the fan motor (usually the colored wire red, blue, or yellow and NOT the black or white or brown) goes to it. If the colors are hard to see use a good lite and some alcohol to clean them up some.

Hope this helps and please rate me accordingly Good Luck.

Elec. intertherm FURNACE

It would help if I knew what type of system you have, lets start with the thermostat. If you disconnect the wires to it, does the heat turn off? I have seen thermostat wires pinched inside the wall, thus bypassing the thermostat controls altogether and it would run constantly. If you send a reply, tell the type. Wall furnace, central unit, heat & cool, gas, electric or heat pump. If you dont know tell me how many wires you have at the thermostat and the colors. You should know this, as you have changed it.
