Copier Hi I have copier in the name of olivety same model of sharp ar 5316, when the machine toner finished we do not get same model toner , so i used sharp 5316 toner but the machine not reading it showing F2 in the display , pls give solution for that

problem is your toner cartridge. inside of the toner cartridge have a toner roller it's didn't circling.or you are using duplicate toner powder.it's doesn't match with sharp ar 5520 developer. or your developer was expired.


first use original toner and try to make copies .i think your problem is solved.

blinking led after replacement of toner cartridge is normal , you have to wait till it gone .
how ever if you feel it take along time then you must check the toner cartridge and reinstall it properly if the machine still blinking you may have to change the developer.

Hi, this is a problem to do with the toner cartridge.
Answer

• Try to remove it out and re-insert it.
• Replace the compatible toner sensor with the old one.
• Please use Ar 202ft original toner cartridge which fits this machine.
• Your problem is now solved good times.

F2 means that an improper cartridge has been installed. Look for the exact type that you used before and it will work.

If that machine is not made by Sharp you can't interchange toners with other machines. On Sharps If you get a F2 code it means the toner ratio and sensors are not calibrated correctly probably due to the toner not being compatible. If it is compatible the sensor could be dirty and it needs to be calibrated again.

Yes, Toner waste sump over filled; 100%!!! To confirm it, remove Toner cart. & make copy; I found same problem in Toshiba eStudio161, which is Sharp AR163, 5015, 5020 & 5316(all are same)

the best you can do is to replace the toner cartridge itself. It won't work if you just refill it.

if i can agree with ur friend that machine might be similar to sf 5316 so you mentioned a code that appeared on display. the question is if that code is F2 and if the old toner cartridge is exactly simslar to the new one you got from sharp, then the solution i tell you is to replace the plug in pin located at the rear side of the cart. above right the set of gears tied with two screws by the same part from the old previous cartridge. then re install the cartrige and switch ON
