To change the settings of the router, you will need to access the router seyt up page. On the set up page of the router, you will find all the settings of the router. Do you have any computer connected to the router ? If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router. Do not change the wireless settings using the wireless computer. when you change the wireless settings of the router, make sure that the computer is connected to the router with the cable.
On the wired computer open the set up page. Change the wireless security key / password. When you change the wireless security, change the wireless network name also.
Once you change the name and security settings on the router, try to connect to the new wireless network on all the wireless computers in your network.

You can reset your router's password or you can change the Wep key.

you have to access the routers web interface at http://192.168.1.1 (linksys) or http://192.168.0.1 (dlink)and play with the options there.

if you forgot the password in the web interface, press the reset button at the back of your router. it is in a small hole. press for 30 seconds
