My asus Eee pc 4g 701 will not connect wireless

Do you have wi-fi enabled? Try pressing Fn key + F2. This enables wi-fi.

Can you connect through a "wired" connection? Is your router connected to the Internet? If you're using wireless encryption, have you told your netbook what that encryption key is?

I also have the exact same problem, can anyone help?

Check the network connection on the Eee PC 4G.

Make sure you have the right network password and the SSID entered.

you need to go to the support site for your computer and find the drivers that you need for your ethernet and it should work after you do that it sounds like a driver problem but it could be something else

Try re-installing the hardware. Your drivers may be currupt. It could also be that the wireless card is not detecting a strong enough signal to connect, try searching for other connections. If the problem presists. It may be a hardware malfunction. In that case you'll need to replace the wireless adaptor. If you still cannot connect, contact your local PC repair shop.

Are you able to check your network connection? Go to your control panel, click on Internet Options, click the Connections tab, then the LAN settings. Make sure the Automatically detect settings is selected and nothing else. close all windows and retry your Internet. Good Luck.

What type computer? Wireless network ? FROM the language you are using [" picks up connection"] It is wireless. You may be picking up "outside" signals. When they are weak, you may get something!,then u loose it. Thats why "pending & nothing happens"
