Ringtones Hi i have a motorola razr v3....when i set my ringtones for a certain caller it says its set but when they call it dont play that song it plays the song thats set as my incoming ringtone for everyone

some phones such as the razr v3 cannot use mp3 as ringtones. try using myxer.com you can make a ringtone from any song on your computer.

What you have to do is go online to a certain site and download the ringtone you want!!!!!!

Bluetooth is the only way I know to get ringtones onto your V3 other than downloading the ringtones or ordering a program called motorola phone tools. Your V3 isn't capable of whole songs. I have a phone that is a V3xx and it has a memory card that is recognized by windows as an external drive.

The ring-tones that are saved to your memory card, if mp3 file, will only play within your music player. You cannot assign any ringtones on your memory card. You must either download a ringtone of your choice from Sprint.com (which costs per ringtone), use your "voice memo" to record your desired music and assign it as your ringtone, or download any ringtone of your choice from certain webhosts that other the service for free such as: myxer.com, mobiles24.com, phonezoo.com, zedge.com.

try areflash of the phone or a master reset ot clear to correct this issue

go to whatever contact u want then choose options, select edit, go down to ringer id and choose the ringtone u want.

I had the same problem... after much fiddling with it, found out that only contacts saved on SIM card could have ringtones assigned. Don't know why... but saving all contacts to SIM & then assigning ringtones worked for me.

yes it does select options and it will ask set as a ring tone..

You should have saved it under ringtones naturally. Look there for the song. It may have sent it to you in a message as well and you are not looking in both areas. Let me know.

yes u can set ring tone what ever you have in phone memory only( if it in sd card u cant set the tone, 1st move the ring tone from sd card to phone memory with format of Mp3... then u can njoy ring tone
