Zyxel G-360 with wpa2 network?

Sounds like your WiFi settings got changed to unsecure or you have a neighbor with the same WiFi network ID (SSID) that is confusing your iLive platinum.

Try changing the name of your WiFi network and confirm that you have WPA2 security enabled.

Depending on your browser, download or display the pdf of the WNR2000 manual ( http://documentation.netgear.com/wnr2000/enu/202-10397-01/pdfs/FullManual.pdf ). The manual might also be found on the CD that came with the router.Follow instructions Chapter 2 Page 7 to enable/setup WPA2-PSK (AES).Make sure you SAVE/APPLY the settings before proceeding. Follow instructions Chapter 2 Page 17 to Disable Router's PIN. When you do, make sure you leave the box checked to "Keep Existing Wireless Settings".Make sure you SAVE/APPLY the settings before proceeding.Here's a work-around ff the above doesn't fix the issue for you. Sorry I don't have iPad-specific instructions, but I don't have access to an iPad/iPhone at the moment. I've done the following on iPads, iPhones, Android phones and tablets, Windows phones and PC's - it works on virtually all Wi-Fi-capable devices..:
Instead of letting your iPad find the network and trying to connect with the password, try manually creating a new Wi-Fi network connection by typing in your Wi-Fi network name (SSID), selecting WPA2 (AES) encryption and entering the Wi-Fi password your configured in STEP 2 above.Please note: You'll have to forget the Wi-Fi network in your iPad's settings if you keep your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) the same as it is currently.

Do you connect your PC to router in an administrator role using web browser? Or do you connect some device to Wi-Fi network?

1. Administrator role: You need to have correct login name and password for admin access. Search in manual or ask Google for default login name and password of your router type. If non-default password is set in the router then you must reset router setting and erase its settings to default (factory) status. You will lose all router configuration but default password is back.
   
2. Wi-Fi client role: There are more possibilities why authentication fails in wireless communication. Mentioned error message describes what kind of problem occurred.
   (a) A password you put to client device does not match the wireless network password which is set in router. Your computer, tablet or smartphone WI-Fi interface must have exactly same password as WI-Fi network which is transmitted from router. Check and compare passwords on both sides, in client device and in router.
   (b) Client Wi-Fi interface security (encryption) mode differs from Wi-Fi network encryption used in router. But the same mode must be set on both sides (client and router) for successful connection.

Encryption modes are

• WPA2 Enterpise
• WPA2 PSK ("home")
• WPA Enterprise
• WPA PSK
• WEP
• No encryption (open)

Higher position - better security. Enterprise Wi-Fi modes require security devices like authentication servers, certification authorities etc. They are not used in home networks usually.

try turning the wi fi off on the tablet and then turn the wi fi back on and try to reconnect.
you may need to set up the encryption. It could be set on WPA2 and the tablet may not cope with WPA2 may need to use WPA1 on router .

Reset Router Password To Default Settings

Find Your Default Router Password
Simply select your router manufacturer from the list below to display the default router passwords and usernames.

You can use your Android phone as a portable hotspot and get your iPad, iPod Touch, or any other wireless device online. This is a great save when there are no available wireless connections available.

1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Select the Menu key.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Wireless & networks.
5. Select Tethering & portable hotspot.
6. Select Portable Wi-Fi hotspot checkbox.
7. Select Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings.
8. Select Configure Wi-Fi hotspot.
9. Input a Network SSID for your connection.

10. Select a security protocol. Options are Open andWPA2 PSK.

If you select WPA2 PSK, input a password for the connection and then select the Save button.


You will use the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot checkbox from above to enable and disable the connection. Once the connection is active, go to the device you wish to connect and configure its wireless connection to the Network SSID for you Android device and input the password (if you are using WPA2 PSK). You now have wireless access for your iPad, iPhone Touch, Zune HD, etc. anytime there is a cellular connection for your Android phone.

Try changing the channel on the router.
Make sure there are no obstructions around the router.
Airflow is important as these routers do not have fans for cooling.
If possible move the router closer to the computer.
It is not necessarily a problem with the router. It could be the Network card in the computer.

You need a WPA or WPA2 key to connect your Game console wireless to the wireless accespoint.

You cannot use the netgear wi-fi adapter as the xbox 360 will not be able to detect it. I suggest buying the wi-fi adapter specifically manufactured for the xbox360
