Where do I send it for repair. I need to know how much it will cost to fix, versus trashing it and getting something different.
There are broken/exploded capacitors on the power plate, it is a 5 Minute job to replace them.
Hello,
Here is a repair guide showing how to dis-assemble the unit and repair the power supply, this is the most common issue with this unit.

If you don't want to do the repair yourself then you can get it repaired here:

My monitor is getting increasingly hard to turn on. The green power light just blinks and doesn't stay on. It happens with both the remote and the power button on the monitor. Today it took 5 or 6 tries before it turned on. I called Samsung since my monitor is still under the 3 yr warranty. First they said they would replace it with a refurbished one ( under 1 yr, they replace with a new one), then said no replacement was available so they would have to repair it, with a 7-14 day turn around time, and are emailing me a no charge shipping label. Luckily, I kept the original box for shipping. Not sure how I'm going to manage with no monitor in the meantime!
The power indictor light blinks on and off and takes a very very very long time before it actually starts up. It's getting progressively worse.
