I have win 2000 SP4 installed along with the latest driver (most recent from the canon site, dated late 2007). No matter what I print, it "clips" out about 1/2 inch of printing. There is no blank space - it simply skips 100-200 pixel lines of print output and keeps on printing; the result looks like someone cut the middle out and taped the two remaining pieces together. This occurs in about the first 3 inches of print space. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the drivers, printing from differet programs, etc.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Had same problem & found nothing at canon website as of sept 08, but found necessary drivers and instructions @ free website...

Finally I figured it out--with help from the other posts. Uninstall the whole thing. Then go to the Canon web site and get AND FOLLOW the directions for the c755 driver.
The step I missed was running the setup2.exe. After the first setup.exe it did not pop up and I left it out the first 2 times I did it. Duh. It is printing nicely now, without the 2 inch gap.
Hope this helps.

Same thing happens to me. If I print two copies of the page, the second one is okay. But that is a waste of paper and ink.
Any other help?
I have downloaded the drivers, installed them, unplugged the printer, rebooted the computer, re-plugged it (As suggested by another web site) still the problem.
I have the same problem. I have installed the driver, unplugged the printer, rebooted the computer, then re-plugged the printer. Same effect.
If I print two copies of the document, the second copy comes out okay.
Go Figure.
