Relisys rlt1720 LCD TV vertical/lines bars equally spread across the screen when switched on. As soon as TV is switched on OSD appears for about half second and then whole screen turns into 5 vertical bars which one of them on left is white. Please, help!!!!
Sorry this wont help you much, but may put you out of your misery trying to repair it.
The LCD panel has failed. In particular the driver tabs that connect to the physical panel have failed and there is no way to repair them.
The only soloution is to replace the entire panel, a cost that would be close to if not more then a new TV of the same size.
I would put it on Ebay for parts (powerboard, logic board etc), and use the money towards it's replacement.

I have already changed the PCB on the LCD screen (for £20 on internet) but it has showen exactly the same simptoms. Any chance to send a picture, please?
