Check to see if it will decrease on the TV itself,install fresh batteries, mash the down button on the remote applying a little pressure, button may be stuck. hope this helps..

As far as I recall, the volume control on the PVR remote only controls the volume from the PVR. So, select the volume fully up (using the PVR remote) then increase the volume on the TV (using the TV remote) until it's as loud as you can stand. You can then adjust (decrease) the the volume to suit using the PVR remote.
our year old tv plays wonderful then it will turn green an the after a while it will go back to normal .we were told that some stores put a chip in it so that after about a yr it will do that.the picture is great but then the screen turns green,what can we do to fix that?
I have Sanyo TV.
This problem started after I got into a sub menu with choices of volume lock and channel lock.
I accidently set it the volume lock to ON.
I could not go to that menu again.
It seems that this TV has the feature of securing the volume so that the kids can't change it.
Any way to go to the locks sub menu?
