Its probaly gone open circuit, however there is a thermistor that prevents it shorting out, you need to locate it and test it with an ammeter

Roper Dryer will not heat

I don't have a picture of the rear panel available, but if you have to remove the exhaust duct to remove the panel, I would be checking to ensure the exhaust ducting is not clogged/restricted. The duct does not have to be completely blocked to cause the dryer not to heat properly.

Please take the time to give this solution a fix ya rating.

Trying to determine if it is worth replacing the heating element on a 12-15 year old electric dryer?

Are you kidding me? Light bulbs don't last for 15 years, why would ya think your dryer heating element would last longer. Me I replace the element every time. Todays newr electronic **** is worthless.

DEAR FRIEND,
ngfam1 here for you!
I am happy to be of assistance!

Roper is owned by Electrolux. Call them and get the wiring chart!
or Frigidaire.com too!

OR
Here is the service company I refer my appliance customers too!
A&E Factory Service
A Nation Wide Company. / Available 24 / 7 for arranging appointments! In the USA.
1(800) 905-9505

If this dryer is 10 years old or more do not spend any money on it!
The new ones are much more efficient! If you have to replace it buy a Speed Queen , it will do 8 loads a week for 25 years!
It's the last washer and dryer I will ever buy!!!! And less expensive than a top of the line unit!

Good luck!
You will be fine now!

Thank You
Bless you,ngfam1
