Nokia E61i will not shut down! Nothing happens

Here's how to reset a Nokia E61i to it's factory settingsTurn off the phoneHold these three buttons simultaneouslyCall Button (the green one)The letter "Y" (the number 3)The letter U (the star key)Turn on phone (don't let go of the three buttons!)Only release the buttons when the phone is really on (when you see a bright Nokia logo).

That's it. Weird, but true. Don't know if you can do it through the menus, which should be easier...

put down ur cell fon from ur home top flor nd aftr that u get a new nokia e61i handset

sorry the only i can say its to try a diferent battery from a friend or the screen is dead

i think you have to replace the battery, and try to buy the original or genuine battery.

may be any button of the mobile have been stucked

My Nokia E61i sometimes starts up with the welcome screen and works normal for a while.
Then sometimes the screen will flash on start up or continues to flash
with spotted colors and not come on. Could this be a software problem?

remove battery plug in power...see what happens ...nothing happens press and hold power button until you hear response(shut down)press power as usual to boot.if it doesnt work first time try a few times more remember to keep power button pressed to shut down.

have it checked for any viruses...do you have the problem everytime you turn on the phone??...i think its probably a virus..
