Hi there please try these mentioned below.

1. Restart the PC and repeatedly hit F8 until you have a menu in front of you.
2. You will find few option there. Just select these mention option " Last know good Configuration ...." use by your up/down arrow on your keyboard.
3. Press enter there.
4. your will see the system asking you for which OS you want to use. If you have only one OS then just press ENTER there or select the OS and Enter.

After these if you face the same problem then format the OS & install it again. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

While booting up your laptop, get the boot choice screen by hitting on the F8 Key. Once you get the choices, try the "Last Known Good configuration" option.

Ok at boot up press F8, when the Menu comes up, choose Safe Mode, but this time instead of going to the desktop, choose System Restore, follow instructions, and when the Calender type window comes up, simply choose a time BEFORE, the time it went faulty. This should completely restore you to working again. As long as there are NO other problems. support.microsoft.com/kb/306084 -

Windows will not load stuck on welcom screen any help with this? Please and thank you

Hi Welcome to FixYa!
If you are having this kind of problem, follow the steps below:
1)Turn off the computer completely.
2)Unplug the charger from the laptop and remove the battery.
3)Press and hold down the power button for 5-10secs. (this will drain the remaining static charges inside the computer)
4)put in back the battery and plug the charger back.
5)Try now to turn on the computer and see if you will be able to pass the Windows Welcome screen.
6)If still no go, turn off the computer again.
7)Try to boot into safemode. (Turn on computer and once you press the power button, keep on tapping on F8.. You should see a screen that has Windows Advanced Boot Options. It has different options like safemode, safemode with networking, etc.)
8)Using the arrow keys, select Safemode. You should be able to login into Windows in Safemode. You might notice that the resolution is different. Don't panic, that's normal.
9)Once you are in safemode, access the System Configuration Utility tool. Open the link to know how to access it. http://vlaurie.com/computers2/Articles/msconfig.htm
10)Once you have accessed msconfig, click on the startup tab>then click on Disable all>click on apply.
11)Click on the Services tab>put a check on the box that says, Hide Microsoft services>Click disable all>click on apply and OK.
12)it will now prompt you with a restart. Restart the computer. and it will now boot back to normal mode.
13)You should be able now to access Windows. If it is successful, there are just some startup items or services that are having conflicts while Windows is trying to load up.
If you are not able to access safemode either, pretty much you have a bad hard drive or Windows could be corrupted. Try first reinstalling Windows on you computer.
Hope this could be a big help.

My computer will not connect to the internet or any other apps even in safemode.

That is normal, Safe Mode disables all drivers so most hardware and software won't run.
However, it is not normal to start into Safe Mode as it is only used for troubleshooting problems.
Restart the computer and it should default to booting in "Normal" mode which will get things working again. If the computer will not boot normally then have it looked at by a professional.

Good luck!

Unable to paly sound in safemode.

HI,
You would not be able to play any sound in safe mode. As including the sound card , no other drivers get loaded. Drivers are peice of software that gets installed on windows to make your audio work. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode, so none of the drivers load in safe mode. Would request you to restart the computer in normal mode and then check for the sound

Thanks

hi,

Try the below steps:

Shutdown the computer and Restart it, as soon as it restarts keep on tapping F8 key, now select, "Last Good Known Configuration" and hit "Enter" key. It should take care of the issue. If not, then boot the computer to "Safemode", to do so, restart the computer and as soon as it restarts keep on tapping F8 key, now select "Safemode" from the Advance boot menu. If it is booting to Safemode, then perfomr a system restore to previous date. If nothing happens, then you have to perfomr a full system restore.

I cant get my computer to fully boot up

This might happen if you install McAfee with applications running, or not restarting Windows, etc. I am not sure why you couldn't boot in Safemode, booting in safemode is exactly what you need to do to uninstall McAfee.

Touchpad won't work: due to virus?

go to the HP website and redown load the driver for the mini1000 notebook touch pad. chances are the driver is just corrupt.

MY Dell laptop running XP will run in safe mode but shut down after 2 minutes in normal operation. When I start it defaults to safe mode but allows me to restart and comes up temporairialy in normal mode...

Hi Friend, If your system only boot up in safemode, you should try a Clean Boot of your machine to help given steps, 1- click Start, and click Run. The Run window appears(From the safemode desktop) 2-. In the Open box, type msconfig and then click OK. The System Configuration Utility appears. 3- go to the General tab and click Selective Startup radio button. 4- Un-check all options with the exception of "Load System Services" & "Use Original BOOT.INI". 5- Click Apply, and then click Close. 6- When prompted to restart the computer, click Yes. Now if it boot up in normal mode you should get a message to the effect of the changes you just made in msconfig, don't worry about it, but make sure you put a check in the box that says "Do not show me this message again" and click the "OK" button.
Thanks,

In stop on safty mode

Do not do a repair install !!!. The system only loading safemode is a sign of a video driver problem, from safemode do the following. 0. Completely uninstall your all/prior video drivers.
1. Disable all startup items. Once that is done reboot and you should be able to load windows normally, you can them reinstall your eVGA 7800GT drivers and also enable only needed startup items (MSCONFIG).
