boot your computer with windows XP cd. it will install winXP automatically but remember to install windows XP other than the drive where your win7 is. for examp: if your win7 is in C drive, install XP in D drive.
hope you can do.
Not sure what you have done so far. You need to divide your hard drive into two sections. Install XP first on to one section. Then use a program to manage your computer start up, the one I use is called Easy BCD this is a free program and works great. Once you cut your hard drive and install XP make a copy of your start up partition. Install the Easy BCD program and make a back up again. Then Install Win 7. Then on the Win7 side install the Easy BDC program and set up the menu choices. I run a 3 way boot with XP and Ubuntu. Hope this helps Fix Ya up.
The drivers for Wndows 7 most likely will not work on Windows XP. If this laptop came installed with Windows 7 it may not have Windows XP drivers. Before you install Windows XP check the LG WEB site for Windows XP drivers for your model laptop. If there isn't any XP drivers then I suggest you stick with Windows 7.

Hi, Yes you can install windows xp in windows 7. Windows XP Mode is a virtual PC image of Windows XP Service Pack 3 that could be run on Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate versions. Applications installed into Windows XP Mode could be run in Desktop Mode or Seamless Mode. In Seamless Mode, applications appear to run natively within Windows 7, but they are actually running inside the Windows XP virtual machine. Windows XP Mode might also provide additional integration that traditional Virtual PC images might not be giving. Applications installed on the Windows XP image could be exposed to the Windows 7 Start menu. Applications run in seamless mode is having automatic access to the Windows 7 known folders like Documents, Pictures, Desktop, Music, etc. Also the Cut-and-paste is enabled between native Windows 7 applications and those running in Windows XP Mode. Applications running in Windows XP Mode might also access your Windows 7 network connection and USB devices.
