doesn't look like theres any drivers for mac on their website.
you will need to find a windows machine or do a bootcamp install of windows on your mac.
this way you can install the drivers on the windows machine and then copy the scans over to your mac when your done.
you will need a windows xp service pack 2 cd or higher to do a boot camp install.
The manufacturer did not write any Mac drivers for this scanner.
I wish that I could be of more help.
Cindy Wells (There are virtual PC programs that let you run a Windows OS on a MAC. You would need a licensed version of Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. Possibly other versions of Windows are supported but these are the ones for which I've found drivers available.)
BenQ does not make MAC OS drivers for this model scanner. Only Windows XP on down to 98 are provided.
Maybe you could run XP in BootCamp, Parallels, or VMWare Fusion on your Mac and use the scanner from the Windows OS...?
Good Luck!
I have only found Windows drivers for this scanner. You might be able to use it with Parallels software or VMWare running a virtual Windows XP or lower on the Mac.
I am assuming this is the G3010 HP Scanner. If it's not please clarify.
If this is the G3010 Scanner, if you don't find the MAC drivers on the CD, then visit this site at HP, in Safari and download to your MAC, begin the installation.
Is there an error? Does the CD/DVD indicate the MAC drivers are on the
disc? Do you have another CD/DVD that indicates the MAC drivers exist
on it?
This scanner was released back in the late 90's, before Os X was released. Heidelberg discontinued support of all but their high end Nexscan scanners. So unfortunately, newer drivers were never made for this product.
