HI I HAVE A 60 INCH PHILLIPS MODEL 60PP9202 AND WAS WORKING GREAT UNTILL YESTERDAY! THE PICTURE JUST WENT OUT. STILL HAVE FULL SOUND BUT NO PICTURE AT ALL.ITS ABOUT 3 YEARS OLD IF THAT HELPS. JUST WONDERING WHAT IT COULD BE? TRING TO SEE IF I SHOULD SPEND THE MONEY TO FIX IT OR BUY A NEW ONE
Try resoldering the vertical output IC. have seen bad solder on that model make the picture tubes blank as a safety feature when vertical deflection drops out.

I need to know first if your TV is on standby mode (red LED lit) or not?..If the green light lit your TV your high voltage (HV) is switch but you have open line on heater that cause of no picture and the sounds is chirping because of analog(antenna)/digital connection or bad audio chips..

Hi, check for any speaker switches around rear of set that may have been accidentally switched. Could potentially have a "hotel lock mode"
which some philips sets automatically entered after a set time (namely months) which limited volume settings. Your friendly local service technician may be able to help you out with that one

I am not at my shop right now but i will look up parts and supplyers for you I had a 60 phillips that came in yesterday it has no power i am going to look at it today .It could have same problem as yours,ill let you know!
