Try resetting your camera in the setup menu and see if that helps. Usually that will do the trick.

I want to know if I can use the eject

The fix is simple...use a separate card reader to download your pics to a folder you create on your desktop. Here's mine....it's $13 at Walmart, reads 32 different cards and is compatible with pc and mac. 1d9c8e1.jpg

I dont have the software to upload pics from camera to my computer..what can I do?

If your operating system is XP or newer or if you have an Apple computer product, your computer should simply recognize your camera once you plug it in via the USB port.
Windows should bring up a Wizard window seconds after you plug your camera in. This Wizard may be used to step you though downloading your pictures.

"SAVE WIZARD PICTURE" does not launch

yes i think u all are having problems in fuji fine pix viewer i think this peace of software is not updated with vista OS so nothing to worry just try alternate source to do this

just connect usb cable supplied with camera and connect ur camera it will show up as a removable disk in my computer open it up and download the pics if u have trouble doing it , first check if ur camera is set to PC = webcam mode and other mode icon means file transfer mode u need to select this mode from menu>setup>usb mode and then go download the pics on pc as described no need for drivers

if u have trouble i can arrange for pics to do that with a diagram
if anything else i can help

pls rate me fixya if i have fixed ur problem

Help to download pics

hi there sing

you can still download the pics from your camera unto your lappy. if your using XP. this will be automatic since your lappy will detect that the camera is insert then you can either manually copy the pics or use the wizard to copy the pics. this is the same for vista.

Canon A460; Downloading pics to computer

I have the exact same camera and all I did to put my photos on the computer was plug my camera into the computer using the USB cable provided. A wizard window should pop up and click on import photos. If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure what to do. I have windows Vista, by the way.

Downloading pics to pc...

We have probably all suffered from 'odd' results when using inappropriate software. The Finepix offering downloads OK for me and for casual photography the free Picasa does that and editing very well. Have you loaded the appropriate software?

PC won't recognize camera as drive

in order to make the corrupted card usable again, try to rename the directory, copy an original directory from a card that's ok. So, at least, the card can be read again by the camera (and re-formatted). Doesn't guarantee that the next pictures might be seen...
