Question about Dell Inspiron 1420 Notebook
Webcam not working since i do not have webcam driver for windows 7. need drivers webcam for windows 7
Currently there aren't any drivers for your computer with Windows 7. Dell only offers drivers for your computer with Windows XP or Windows Vista. I would try using the Creative Labs Webcam Driver they have for Vista. Since many things about Vista & 7 are similar, often the drivers for Vista will work with Windows 7. Go to dell.com, enter the model of your computer, choose Vista as your operating system, then go to Input Devices, choose the Creative Webcam and download the driver to your desktop (I suggest against using Dell's Download Manager, just download via your browser like you usually would). Then install the driver. With any luck your will be up and running with your webcam.

well usually webcams comes with software to try it so you will be able to see yourself.
if you dont have that software use and MESSENGER as AIM, windows live messenger, yahoo messenger and click any of your contacts, and start a video conference.
in some cases, you can click on start, and on the right column you will see CONTROL PANEL click on it, on the left side there will be some options. click on classic view and you will have to look for an icon call SCANNERS AND CAMERAS clcik on it, you will see the name or model of your webcam and it may have some otions to test the camera so will see yourself on it.
